St. Joseph Health Systems – Urgent Care Facility

Ramtech partnered with a project management firm and Houston-based Vaughn Construction to design and develop this urgent care clinic for St. Joseph Health System in College Station, Texas. Originally conceived as a traditional modular construction project, Ramtech lobbied the team members to use the Accelerated Building System to meet the projects schedule and design requirements. Measuring 7,200 square feet, the two-doctor facility features five exam rooms, four treatment rooms, triage area, large nurses station, two doctors offices, x-ray, lab, and multiple storage areas. The facility was critical in providing an entrance into a designated high growth area by the hospital, and helped facilitate the future development of an entire medical complex in a previously undeveloped section of the city.

Veterans Administration – Outpatient Clinic

Ramtech provided full design-build services for the development and construction of this 8,500 square foot addition to the existing community-based outpatient clinic in Myrtle Beach, South Carolina. Because the original contractor was removed from the project for non-performance, Ramtech employed its Accelerated Building System to meet an expedited construction timeline. Located within two miles of the coast, the facility provided challenges to meet the foundation requirements due to a very shallow water table. The building features an EIFS exterior, multiple exam rooms, a TB isolation room, and an imaging center with a large x-ray area. A computer-controlled environmental management system was installed along with security and communications systems tied into the existing structure.

Family Medicine Center – Medical Facility

Ramtech designed and constructed the building modules utilizing its Accelerated Building System and provided full construction services including the development of the site and installation of the floorless modules comprising this 12,000 square foot rural health clinic in the central Texas community of Groesbeck. The new clinic was part of a complete redevelopment with an exterior to match the new hospital facility constructed on the same site. The $2.1 million dollar rural health clinic utilizes Ramtech’s Accelerated Building System for modular construction and features an EIFS exterior, split-face block wainscot and an EPDM membrane roof. The facility is home to seven physicians and an optometrist and includes a total of 20 exam rooms, 4 procedure rooms, medical records and billing offices, and retail space for the optometrist.
