The second of two facilities developed for Motorola in Scottsdale, AZ, this 60,000 square foot two-story light manufacturing facility was developed under an expedited contract to meet an emergency requirement of the federal government prior to the start of the first Gulf War. Developed as a Type II noncombustible structure with steel clear-span construction, the facility utilizes high-strength flooring to accommodate fork-lift traffic for light-manufacturing while also providing for open office and engineering space. A stucco exterior with spandrel windows was incorporated to match the architectural features of the surround – ing area, and extensive interior accommodations were designed to facilitate the installation of several miles of equipment and communications wiring.

Diamond Shamrock – San Antonio, Texas

Located on their sprawling corporate headquarters campus in San Antonio, Diamond Shamrock needed to expand their retail record storage capacity and provide for additional administrative and engineering space due to an acquisition.

Ramtech provided a cost-effective solution using a design-build cost plus (with guaranteed maximum price) contract for a permanent modular facility in a fraction of the time it would have taken using traditional site construction. The result is a 19,800 square foot permanent modular building with an open office layout incorporating a ten foot ceiling height, and integrated sound baffling to eliminate white noise. The facility also includes a large conference room, separate offices, microfiche viewing area, and restrooms.

When the San Antonio Federal Credit union wanted to locate a fully-automated ATM facility on the grounds of the local Veterans Administration property, the only legal solution was to choose a permanent modular building.

Located in the heart of San Antonio, TX this 4,200 square foot facility was designed with a brick masonry exterior integrated to match the existing architecture of the area. One of the first “allATM” facilities to be built nationally, the project requirements called for full site-development, wood and steel construction, and a project timeline of 150 days.
