The project, known as the Dallas Transitional Center was part of a ten acre development located on Dallas County owned land 12 miles south of Downtown Dallas.

The building can accommodate up to 296 clients in four 50-man dorms, three 24-man dorms, and one 24-woman dorm. The steel clear span design allows for a large open seating and activity area, in addition to two large partitionable classrooms, a full commercial kitchen, multiple administrative offices and counselor rooms, a control room, and a nurses area. Ramtech was responsible for the full site development of the four acres that accommodate the building, 40 parking spaces, two basketball courts, and two covered pavilions.

Bliss, Texas. Originally started in April 2007 task orders 001-002-003 included requirements for Company Operation Facilities for the US Army Milcon expansion at Fort Bliss, Texas, three task orders were issued totaling $32 million. The projects requirement for multiple permanent buildings in a compressed construction time frame was an ideal application for Ramtech’s Accelerated Building System.

Developed as a Type II noncombustible structure with steel clear-span construction, the facility utilizes high-strength flooring to accommodate fork-lift traffic for light-manufacturing while also providing for open office and engineering space. A stucco exterior with spandrel windows was incorporated to match the architectural features of the surround – ing area, and extensive interior accommodations were designed to facilitate the installation of several miles of equipment and communications wiring.

The 15 module facility is part of Gulf Marine’s contract requirement to provide engineering office space for approximately 75 Chevron USA personnel who will oversee the construction of the topsides for a dry tree Extended Tension Leg Platform that will be used in the $4 billion Big Foot deep water oil and gas development project in the U.S. Gulf of Mexico. The modular building features 72 private offices, two conference rooms, an IT server room, and a large records storage area.

Separated by a two-hour site installed firewall, the modular buildings provide temporary administrative and executive office space for Southwest Airline’s to use as they manage Love Field’s terminal and gate expansion program. With extensive experience in managing airport improvement projects, Southwest selected Ramtech from among several other modular companies to supply the buildings which feature nine foot ceiling heights and VCG walls in the administrative office and a textured and painted interior in the executive suite.

After settling on a site that would accommodate an office and space for truck parking, Fikes chose a traditional modular building configured to meet the fast paced requirements of the trucking industry. Operating throughout the Midwest and Southern part of the US, Fikes specializes in hauling building materials, coil steel, structural steel, machinery and manufactured products, providing flatbed and heavy haul services to some of the largest shippers in the United States. Their 1,536 square foot building provides space for two private offices, a large dispatch and business office room, waiting area, and breakroom. The exterior is finished with a standard R-panel siding and the interior walls with vinyl covered gypsum.
